Corey Bridges
Co-founder, Executive Producer and Marketing
Director, The Multiverse Network
Corey brings marketing experience from some
of the most innovative companies in the
high-tech and entertainment industries --
such as Zone Labs, Netflix, Netscape, Borland
and The Discovery Channel -- to The Multiverse
Network, a company aiming to become the
world's leading network of Massively Multiplayer
Online Games (MMOGs) and 3D virtual worlds.
He specializes in market creation and growth
for new categories of products and has also
built and launched a number of world-class
technology platforms.
The Multiverse Platform has been designed
to reduce the complexities of MMOG and virtual
world development by providing developers
with infrastructure and tools, content and
a built-in market of consumers.
At Zone Labs, Corey launched numerous award-winning
consumer and enterprise products domestically
and internationally. He created the original
launch plan for ZoneAlarm, whose Internet-only
distribution strategy captured 35 million
users worldwide. In 2003, he was invited
to contribute to a U.S. Homeland Security
task force on Cyber Security.
Prior to Zone Labs, Corey was a member of
the original launch team for Netflix. While
there, he pioneered a new methodology of
Internet-based marketing that identified,
secured and grew the initial market of customers
critical to the survival and success of
the company. Netflix held its initial public
offering in 2002 and has a market cap of
over $1 billion.
A pre-IPO employee at Netscape Communications
Corporation, Corey worked as product manager
for the Netscape's flagship Internet browser.
While there, he helped design client and
server products that extended the Netscape
platform.
Corey also has written and directed a number
of short films, and produced commercials
and TV specials. An award-winning writer,
he has also collaborated with well-known
technology expert John Dvorak on multiple
books.
